In the wake of the events of the past 5 years, we, as a society have endured many shifts. Shifts in our daily routines, like never before. In a single day, we were all literally ordered to quaranteen in our homes. Never before in our lifetimes, had our entire country been ordered to stay home and not go outside, SHIFT. We were strongly advised to wear masks for our own protection, though many defied the recommendation, and it cost them their lives. Just about every person on earth had friends and family, who died of this new, and terrifying illness. Our very perspective of life and death was changed, SHIFT. I recall, so many restaurants I once frequented, close their doors, and those who remained open, raised their prices right away. Common goods like toilet paper even became highly coveted items and we began to see the reality that just being alive, was fragile, SHIFT. Then, corporations like the Big Oil companies began their onslaught of unnecessary price increases. Then the Big, mostly monopoly food companies began their artificial price increases, all in the name of profit, and we quietly paid whatever they asked, SHIFT. Then, we started to see bigger and bigger homeless popullations in every major city in America, as housing prices multiplied, till even rental homes were unaffordble, SHIFT. A great chasm was created, not just in America, but world wide, by the political exploits of the former president and those, both who support and those who opposed him, SHIFT. Millions of lifelong friendships have disolved and families have been completely divided by wayward ideaologies and a barrage of scandals, so numerous, we are now largely numb to them, SHIFT.
For the first time in our lifetimes, we're witnessing, for some, Israel defending itself, for others, Ethnic Cleansing and Genocide, live, thanks to the incredible power of social media, and the passion is steadfast, no matter what side we stand on, SHIFT. As a result of all these life changing events, the trauma we have collectively experienced, will stay in ourbloodlines for the next 7 generations, SHIFT. And with that, I ask US ALL, to be kind! Be kind to others, and more importantly, be kind to yourself. It will surely make the world a better place! SHIFT!
